Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act (XVIII of 1960) as amended by Act (XXIII of 1973) and Act (I of 1980), Secs.14(1)(b) and 16(1) — Eviction petition — Ground of demolition and reconstruction — Bona fide requirement — No documentary evidence regarding the condition of the building — Landlord also admitted that the petition premises will be sold to his brother — Requirement is not bona fide — Appellate authority is right in rejecting the plea of the landlord.
